Bind the Sacrifice
ow careless do I ask Thy favor-
Instead of Thy presence savor!
Bind my soul to Thine above,
Fettered by Thy cords of love.
Lash the sacrifice to the alter,
Lest I take it back and falter.
What is my life without the Son?
Dark blank days, yes - every one.
Life and passion flow from You,
Sweeter than the morning dew.
Renew my love for Thine own use,
Lest Thy presence I should lose.
No matter what the world may do,
My lips shall only speak of You.

Heavenly Brother
he tears you cry, He's cried.
The pain you feel, He endured.
In sorrow and woe He died,
That we might be assured.
Do you have trouble and woes?
Your Heavenly Brother had those.
The God of heaven and earth,
Was born but man in birth.
His name be always praised.
Every being before Him bow.
God His Son hath raised,
And given us victory now.

The Unspoken Cry
one would suspect, from your granite face,
That sorrow there, could ever trace
Her finger, in such painful lines.
"Flint-cold heart!" you are frequently termed,
For your silence, seems but to confirm
The absence, of any such organ.
What to others, your face seems to conceal,
I fancy sometimes, your actions reveal
Feelings contrary, to the facade.
At the funeral, you shed not a single wet tear,
Or emotions, showing the person was dear
In life, this was my view... at the time.
After the service, when you thought none present,
I witnessed grief, on your face self-evident
Of the loss you felt, your unspoken cry.

You Stood Without
h! My heart melteth!
Beloved, I never understood!
You came into this world-
Through my lattice You looked,
Saying, "Rise up, My love."
You declared before all-
"Ye in Me, and I in you,"
As only true lovers speak.
You placed my claim upon You first-
Your claim on me, came last.
This place of honor I cursed.
"Turn away," I replied,
"I am resting, turn aside,"
Not obeying Your call to abide.
But, You stood without my door,
Among the dew, Your voice implored,
"Open to Me, My sister, My love."
Beloved! how could I-
Give You such pain?
I entreat him that readeth,
If you see my Beloved- tell Him I am His.
Search for Him, the fairest among princes.

What Greater Love
ay after day, they wish me dead,
"Why could she not, have died instead?"
Accidents happen, and I'm to blame,
Pain and death, for my sister came.
Now here I stand, upon the edge,
Wanting to jump, over this ledge.
If no one cares that I'm alive,
Why should they care, if I die?
You have friends - I know you do,
But I have none - none to talk to.
Do you hear that? a voice so low
The more I hear, the louder it grows.
"My beloved Son, I freely gave
Upon the earth, to seek and save.
Say no one loves you - no one cared?
What of One, whom Calvary bared?
What greater love, can one man show,
To give His life, that you might know
How much I crave, your heart and soul,
And draw you from, the gates of sheol."
A happy face I turned to see
"Oh how much, my God loves me!"

Clouds and Sunshine
n this world are testings & pain.
With every loss comes a gain.
Always let me know You are mine.
The cloudiest day can have sunshine.
Never give more than we can bear.
Never over-load us with care.
Give me sunshine with my clouds.
Grace, break thorugh that darkened shroud.
Help me find the silver lining,
Guide me when the sun's not shining.
Keep me always, from despairing,
As Noah's dove, let hope take wing.
No fear, just anticipation,
God just wants co-operation.
Praise the LORD that you adore,
For the sun will shine once more.
In heaven there are no clouds,
Over His face there's no shroud.
No sun is there for shining,
In heaven Christ's the lighting.
When in trials, never whining,
Behind the clouds the sun's shining.
Though you can't feel it's warm rays,
God's faithful to us always.

I Wait for Daybreak
he Sun and Sky, I do not see,
Moon and Stars, entice and mock me.
Blue, green, so dim and so unclear,
For fear is the one color here.
I stretch my arms, study my cell,
What thoughts I have, I do not tell.
For iron bars are not just that,
Hate built this prison with format.
On these cold stones, I pass my days,
Remembering God - and His ways.
Clutching to the faith that placed me here,
Though my future looks dark and drear.
Come, oh God's Son, and never depart.
Warm this sad organ called my heart.
You are free, but with me You stay,
My Best Friend for now and alway.
Forget me not, oh God most high,
For to You, I come - and draw nigh.
With hatred have they cursed my face,
But where sin is, much more the grace.
In silent patience, I await,
For God will give a different fate.
I wait for daybreak.
