I Do Not Stand Alone
ow strong the tempest, and the gale,
By my sight, doth seem to prevail!
Trouble on my right hand, trouble on the left,
What more can I do, than to seek Your cleft?
No words I've found, can best express,
The love I know, midst my distress.
By Your grace, to me You have shown,
I do not stand in this world, alone.

Womb of the Morning
s the sparrow, sits alone on the housetop,
I wait for You, in the womb of the morning,
My salty tears, mingling with the dewdrops.
As the mist, softly rolls in from the sea,
Pervading each blade, of the tall grass,
So Your tender Spirit, encompasses me.
Joyfully, my wings take hold of the sky,
As a homesick angel, I fly.

Death, O Sweet Release
(A poem about one near death.)
s I've passed my life,
On this sphere of strife,
My hope grows ever bright,
As I reach that Divine light.
God my soul will now receive,
For Hell is now bereaved.
Rejoice not, O Enemy,
Your slave is now set free.
My heart is now at ease,
Death, O sweet release.
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
~ Philippians 1:21 ~

Wonderful Is Your Name
hen trouble and temptation steal across my heart,
And I find myself waiting for the Red Sea to part,
Be my only hope and feed my strong desire,
Face the tempest though all seems dire,
Give confidence to cross dry land,
Knowing that You hold my hand.
Oh!
Wonderful is Your name!
Comfort in the driving rain,
Shelter from the stormy blast,
You give such sweet repast,
and
Wonderful is Your name!

Our Days are as a Shadow
ur days are as a shadow,
Fleeting pictures on the ground.
Always there and ever present,
Betraying not a sound.
God made this system so,
His wisdom could forsee,
Man was forgetful of his frame,
And how fleeting time can be.
Our days are as a shadow,
Faithful witness of our deeds,
Every action shadows mimic
Tell us always to take heed.

Why Do the Children Die?
hy do the children die?" I once heard someone ask,
"God says He is merciful - does He wear a kind mask?"
I looked to Heaven and saw God's eyes looking down
At the children dying upon earth's cursed ground.
"Why do the children die?" I cried to Him out loud.
He turned His eyes upon my heart - in awe, I bowed.
"If thou forget Me, then thee will I forget,
Not only thou, but the children you beget.
Nations that forget Me, shall be turned into hell,
And with their children, it shall not be well.
As I live, I have no pleasure in death and strife,
But that you repent, and take hold of pure life.
Why do the children die? Why will ye die, oh earth?
Return to Your Father, and find in Me, rebirth."
I felt my Creator's grief, at His just decree,
"Lord, revive Thy work, in wrath remember mercy."
"I will remember Abraham, I will remember the land.
For My name's sake, I will remember the children.
Yet, for this, will I be inquired of by My house,
To do it for them, as a bride should - of her Spouse."
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten
the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
~ Hosea 4:6 ~
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."
~ Psalm 9:17 ~
"Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death
of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from
your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?"
~ Ezekiel 33:11 ~
"O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in
the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy."
~ Habakkuk 3:2 ~
"Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac,
and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land."
~ Leviticus 26:42 ~
"Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of
Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock."
~ Ezekiel 36:37 ~
